The North American Committee
The North American Committee is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose members have been indelibly shaped by their own experiences of pilgrimage to St. George’s College and their engagement with its mission.
Since 1988, the North American Committee (NAC), representing the Episcopal Church in the United States and the Anglican Church of Canada, has supported the mission and ministry of St. George’s College. NAC has two primary roles: to provide financial support for the College and to assist pilgrims and scholars as they journey to St. George’s College and the Holy Land — Israel, Palestine and Jordan.
Why St. George's College Matters
St. George’s College is the Anglican Communion’s primary center for religious dialogue and understanding through pilgrimage, formation, education, encounter, and—crucially—reconciliation.
The experience had at St. George's ripples out into the world, with St. George's alumni serving as God's agents of reconciliation and peace.
Support for St. Georges College
Through financial support, NAC helps sustain the College and strengthen its future. Over the past decade, NAC has provided more than $2 million in support of the College’s mission. In recent years, these gifts have provided a vital lifeline for the College’s Palestinian staff, while helping to ensure that St. George’s College is equipped to flourish in the years ahead.
